If this is your first visit to the Pilot Wives Club, then let me be the first to welcome you to our home. Just to give you a little background, I created the Pilot Wives Club in October of 2008. This site was born out of my frustration in dealing with the challenges of being a pilot’s wife. Family and friends didn’t seem to completely understand the dynamics of my life. The constant chaos and instability of the airline industry really put a lot of stress on my marriage. That’s when I decided that being a pilot’s wife would not define how I lived my life. I would not let this career define my marriage. And so, I formed the Pilot Wives Club in order to offer support and encouragement to other wives facing the same challenges. Never did I dream that the site would take off like it did. And now, here I am almost a year later trying to manage the high traffic and demands of this close knit group of ladies. What a blessing this site has turned out to be for me and many other women just like me.
